BMHC 2024 Website Launch

We were contacted by Adnan who is the Head of Business Development for the British Muslim Heritage Centre (BMHC), there were many clear issues upon initial analysis of their website which was failing to meet the demands of the organisation. The main things that stood out to be were the website speed issues, crashing, poor SEO and the overall outdated nature of the website.  We also had issues implementing the GiveWP plugin which needed urgent resolution as there were conflicts happening behind the scenes with the various plugins, frameworks and theme setup.

We made many changes to the website to combat these issues such as:

• Overall website refresh
• Added CDN and optimised hosting account
• Updated plugins, theme and PHP version
• GiveWP setup capability with Stripe
  

We started by creating a new website on a staging server before setting new one live with all updates made to plugins, theme and frameworks in WordPress.

• Setup GiveWP – Donation system
• SEO optimisation

With these changes, the website has been rejuvenated with a modern, engaging finish. Furthermore, rather than the webpage taking the 8 second load time and relatively halving it. All content is far more easier, clearer and quicker to intake due to the drastically improved UX.
